The u-Smart range of fitting, consisting of couplings, elbows, tees and a large number of other system components leaves nothing to be desired: Pressing or screwing – both methods can be used to ensure a permanently tight connection. With the advanced press fitting generation, u-Smart is offering a multi-layer composite pipe system with reliable test safety. The fitting is designed to that pressure testing reveals non-pressed connections which would discharge water – a smart system designed for your safety. An additional bonus is the clever range of tools for fast and convenient installation

Quick, easy, permanent, safe: The smart connection system
Our plastics and metal processing expertise in not only reflected in the manufacture of unique composite pipes. With u-Smart, all products are from one source; the strength of u-Smart also lies in the fitting, which is designed to perfectly fit the pipe. This ensures that all fittings have an optimized insert part geometry. The O-rings ensure an absolutely tight connection between the insert part and inner pipe wall. The quality of the complete system is DVGW certified

A further installation option using modern system technology is offered by the composite fitting. This fitting is made of special PPSU plastic. High temperature-resistance, high strength and suitability for its use with particularly aggressive water are the key advantages of the composite fitting

Connection by screwing:
u-Smart screw fittings are available for diameters form 14 to 25 mm and fit all u-Smart nipples, elbows, tees, transitions and manifolds. For example, a tee can be formed into a reducing tee by combining various different sized pipe screw fittings with identically threads. The system reduces warehousing costs and facilitates ordering procedures

Complete system:
Press fittings are available for all practically applications. Press fittings of tin plated brass are available for all sizes from 14 to 75mm. The system also included composite fittings of PPSU in the sizes 16 to 32 mm. Specially developed clamp fittings are available for diameters 90 and 110

Pressure sleeve of metal fittings:
The pressure sleeve for dim. 16 – 32 mm of high-quality aluminum is permanently connected with the fitting body. That means the O-rings are protected against mechanical effects during transport and handling. The integrated window enables a check to be made during installation to see whether the pipe is correctly inserted.

u-Smart pressing jaws are designed specially for use in conjunction with u-Smart electrically and battery-operated pressing tools.
